Since 1979, Way Out West Inc. has specialized in contract sewing. Our
11,000 sq. ft. facility is located in Gardena, CA - five minutes east of Los Angeles International Airport and 15 minutes north from the port of Los Angeles. This location allows immediate access to our facilities, providing clients with the ability to work with us directly on sample refinement, first round production runs, and final product creation.
Our staff has years of experience providing quality sewing services. There are over 50 employees in Gardena -- 70% of whom have been with the company for over 10 years. The Way Out West, Inc. team has experience with many types of sewing processes and projects. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies, start-ups looking to outsource for the first time, and the US
government. Many of these clients have been with us for years - a testament to our quality, reliability and efficiency.
Our expertise includes sample refinement, heat-sealing and taped seams, die-cutting,
RF bonding and contract sewing. Since 1979, we have been licensed to source DuPont™
materials such as Lycra®, Tychem® and Tyvek®, and are available to research other types of fabrics and materials - making us an important resource to your company. All projects are set up and managed by a team with over 25 years of experience and undergo a rigorous quality control process before being packaged and shipped.
